With previous experience in customer care, Zakaria is skilled at communicating clearly and professionally with clients, helping to ensure they feel supported and informed throughout their matter. He is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering a high standard of service. Zakaria has a strong interest in progressing his legal career and hopes to pursue a law degree in the future, building on his practical experience within the firm.

Magda Smart is the firm’s Client Relations Manager and a key member of the New Business team. She is often the first point of contact for clients and plays an important role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from initial enquiry onwards. Magda works closely with both clients and fee earners to support efficient onboarding and clear communication. She is known for her approachable manner, professionalism, and commitment to delivering a high standard of client care.

She plays a central role in the day-to-day running of the firm, supporting staff, managing operational processes, and ensuring a positive experience for both clients and colleagues. Angella works closely with clients from initial enquiry through to onboarding, helping to ensure matters are handled efficiently and professionally from the outset. Her approachable manner and strong organizational skills make her an essential point of contact within the firm.

Sendhil Thiagarajan is an experienced Legal Accounts Manager with over 35 years’ experience supporting law firms of varying sizes. He <img class=" wp-image-7087 alignleft" src="https://herveydickens.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Coming-soon-300x300.webp" alt="" width="227" height="227" /> specializes in Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) compliance, client and office account management, and regulatory reporting. He has a proven track record of successfully managing SRA and Lexcel audits, maintaining robust financial controls, and overseeing legal accounting systems and processes. Sendhil is AAT qualified and a Member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators (ILCA), and is known for his reliable, detail-focused approach to legal finance and compliance.

Yvette Mwesigye is a Trainee Solicitor who joined the firm in 2025. She brings a strong academic foundation and valuable practical experience to her role, having worked in the legal field for several years prior to commencing her training contract. Yvette holds a Bachelor’s degree from Keele University, completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Manchester, and also holds a Master’s degree in International Trade and Economic Law from the University of the West of England (UWE). Before joining the firm as a Trainee Solicitor, Yvette gained over three years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, during which she developed a broad understanding of legal practice and client care. She is involved in a range of matters and supports clients with diligence, professionalism, and attention to detail. She advises clients with sensitivity and professionalism, particularly in matters that can be legally complex and emotionally challenging. Her experience enables her to provide clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.
